Holy shitaki mushrooms.
Here’s my short term plan for the next couple of months:
- Eat two meals and two small snacks each day.
- Do 45 minutes of cardio at least every other day.
- 1 min of punches every day.
That’s it.
One — Two — Three
For now, anyway.
Noms
- breakfast: rice cakes
- lunch: turkey sandwich on wheat with brie, light mayo
- snack: small serving of organic chile with shredded cheese and saltines, cranapple juice
- dinner: snack: strawberry ceasar salad made with my first lettuce harvest from the backyard garden! check it out:

Exercise
- 45 min exercise bike while watching an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix whilst crocheting my bridesmaids gifts.
Accomplishments
- Had a throat infection/fever this weekend that seemed to go away, but I apparently didn’t give myself enough time to rest because it came back this morning and stayed until late evening. Slept it off most of the day. What a terrible day.
- This wedding planning is hard work, but I’m getting there. DJ booked, caterer locked down, linen rental chosen, wedding officiant guy picked, dress she shoes purchased, invitations about ready to be sent out, registry taken care of, oboe fixed…
- I’ve decided to only let myself watch Star Trek: TNG episodes if I am also riding my recumbent exercise bike. I love that show and find it is a pretty great reward and reminder for doing 45 min of cardio at least every other day.

I have an interview for a part time receptionist position at a salon tomorrow afternoon! I interview well, so I’m fairly confident I’ll do alright. Crossing my fingers though! That would be the perfect gig for me right now, as I need the steady cash but am too busy planning the wedding and expanding my shop inventory to work full time. I feel fortunate Roy gets paid enough and we live frugally enough for that to be a possibility. Needless to say, I have a good life.

Been crocheting like a monster, planning for a wedding in three months, working, and keeping up with the house.
In the last few weeks, here’s what’s been going on with me fitness-wise:
- I finished my 30 Day Shred and did a little dance afterwords.
- Began doing pushups on a daily basis to keep my arms toned.
- Keeping up with my daily yoga stretches. Nothing too intense, just enough to keep me limber and give me a good morning energy surge.
- I’ve managed to keep my weight stable at 153lbs for about two months with moderate eating and exercise. My fat to muscle has definitely improved and I am much more toned and less squishy, but my weight remains constant for the time being.
- I can bend over with my legs straight and look into my crotch now. I’m that flexible and it’s sort of awesome.
- A BIT TMI: I can sex my fiance for longer periods of time in interesting positions without needing to rest. Makes for VERY fun workouts, let me tell ya.
BUT
- I caved three times in the last two months and ate fast food. Taco Bell double deckers one day, Burger King chicken sandwich a few weeks later, and a chili cheese hot dog from Sonic a few days ago in a mad rush to eat before work one day.
All in all, I’m pretty proud of myself regardless. I will update later with my food and exercise for the day and post a photo of the wedding dress I’m getting made! I’m so excited. :)
Not only applied to exercise now a days. I am a busy bee.
